Services Provided

PDJ Tutoring provides online 1-to-1 tutoring in GCSE and A-Level Mathematics and Computer Science. Sessions are delivered remotely via video conferencing platforms such as Zoom.

Business Structure

PDJ Tutoring is currently operated as an unincorporated sole trading business and is not registered as a limited company with Companies House. This is fully compliant with UK law for individuals providing tutoring services.

A formal company registration may be completed in the future as the business develops. Any such change will not affect existing bookings or agreements made under these Terms.

Bookings and Scheduling

Sessions are offered on a flexible, pay-as-you-go basis unless otherwise agreed. No subscription or long-term contract is required.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Sessions may be cancelled, rescheduled, or postponed at any time before the scheduled start time without any additional charge. However, advance notice is appreciated where possible.

If a student arrives late, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time. Sessions cannot be extended beyond their allocated duration due to scheduling commitments with other students.

Payments

Pricing is clearly displayed on the website and may be updated at any time. Any changes will not affect sessions that have already been booked or paid for.

Student Responsibilities

• Attend sessions on time and prepared
• Ensure a stable internet connection and suitable learning environment
• Engage respectfully and constructively during lessons

Tutor Responsibilities

• Provide structured and high-quality tutoring sessions
• Tailor lessons to the student’s exam board and ability level
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and consistency

Educational Disclaimer

While tutoring aims to improve understanding and academic performance, no specific grade improvement or exam outcome is guaranteed. Results depend on student effort, engagement, and external exam conditions.

Intellectual Property

Any materials, notes, or resources provided during sessions remain the intellectual property of PDJ Tutoring unless otherwise stated. These materials are provided for personal educational use only and must not be redistributed, copied, or sold.

Termination

Either party may end the tutoring arrangement at any time. Any prepaid but unused sessions will be honoured or refunded at the discretion of PDJ Tutoring.

Limitation of Liability

PDJ Tutoring shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of this website or tutoring services. All services are provided in good faith to support learning and academic development.

Changes to These Terms
